Primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, pain medicine, orthopedics, advanced nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and any other providers.
Workshop purpose:
We teach injection techniques for Botox-applicable medical conditions and orthopedic diseases. These include chronic migraine, cervical dystonia, limb spasticity, joints and bursa injections, nerve blocks and muscle injections. Learners can and will practice injection techniques with and without ultrasound guide during the workshop. Indication, contraindications, complications, billing, coding and sample notes will be provided. What is learnt is immediately applicable in practice.

- Perform tendon sheath, bursa and muscle injection
- Perform Botox injection
- Perform peripheral nerve blocks
- Establish indication, contraindication for injection procedures
- Recognition of complications with injections and blocks
- Documentation for procedures, coding, and reimbursement
- Perform orthopedic history taking and examination
- Differential diagnosis of MSK pain and neurological deficit
